October 2019
Welcome to The Georgina Paranormal Society!
Another exciting season is underway here at the GPS. We’re so grateful, once again, to Greg and Carole Forrest for allowing us to continue to use their beautiful Reception Room at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home in Sutton, Ontario for our bi-monthly meetings this season. We are also very grateful to our followers here and on Facebook and Twitter who continue to support us in our work, and for our local followers who come on out to our meetings and events. The stories and feedback that you give us are very welcomed and very helpful to us as we go forward.
This year, we will be saying a fond farewell to our Tech/Investigator Elyse. She has been on the team for a few years, and has been instrumental in updating our social media, helping with video, audio and technical issues – but she has a very full, very busy schedule! She will continue to be available “on the sidelines”; however, in her place, we welcome a new Tech/Investigator, but a familiar face to the GPS, Robin Rheaume! Robin was an investigator a few years ago on our team and is back again – this time also in a tech role, which is something she loves. We are very happy and excited to see Robin back on the team and look forward to working with her. We retain our awesome core team of investigators: Chris Scheder (Assistant Director), Deb Panczuk (Research/Investigator) and Sherry Gray (Investigator). All of them are dedicated to helping those who have paranormal issues, to answer questions about things they cannot explain, and to researching paranormal situations leading to a better understanding of their causes and potential solutions. A great team!
Last season, we had a few wonderful guest speakers, and we even took a couple of our meeting attendees with us on an investigation of the Georgina Arts Centre and Gallery! They had a very interesting evening – and we are looking forward to giving a few more of our meeting attendees the opportunity to investigate locally with us this year. You never know when we’ll be holding an investigation draw at one of our meetings, so please do make some time to attend and to share stories and experiences with us. We love having you with us and meeting all of you.
Thank you, all of you, for your support and your encouragement. The Georgina Paranormal Society is not your “typical” paranormal team. We are dedicated to holding public meetings, involving our community in what we do and are passionate about, and we are steadfast in our mission to help the haunted. We are a very hands-on, grassroots organization with open minds and hearts, and years of experience. And we love to learn from YOU as much as you love to learn from US.
Do you have a story to share? Please send it to us and, with your permission, we will include it here on our website. If you’d like to remain anonymous, no worries. We will absolutely respect that. Your stories do help those who have been or who are in similar circumstances. When you are having a paranormal experience, you can often feel very alone. We want to help. Sharing is caring. Thank you so much!
Best regards,
